Ok… I know what you are going to say, “Another post so soon!?”  Yes… I promise it will be short! I just wanted to share how much fun we had this weekend at the Dinkles camp! Even though it rained, we were able to play around and pick on each other enough to pass the time! The pictures pretty much explain it all!

Thank you for inviting us to go to the camp Mr. Kevin and Mrs. Desma… it was a blast!!*your girls*

Update!

Hello Everyone!!!

I want to go over a couple of things that God has been doing here at the Heart House. First and Foremost Brittney has returned to us! It was so neat how God worked things out. We had scheduled for Blue Sushi to come on the same day that Brittney was coming back, and it was also Father’s Day weekend!! Crazy, huh?!  Since Brittney has come back it just made the house feel complete again. It was like a family member who went on a REALLY LONG vacation. We ALWAYS had hope that she was going to come back but honestly, She needed to leave to understand that she needed to stay. Isn’t that how we are with God? Just as soon as we leave for a short period and think we can do it on our own we realize why we need to be with Him!!! Anyway… We are glad to have Brittney back home.

I have a new nanny job!! Hooray!! God has really blessed me. Through out all of the problems and the struggle God brings hope. ALWAYS!! Well the kids have woken up from their nap and I have to go bake cookies! It sounds like a chore but, they are the store bought kind and then we get to put icing on them and Eat them!! Yay!

I love evey single one of you!! Be blessed!!

Hello friends and fam!! I haven’t written anything in a long time, and not because of lack of things going on…. trust me. More like, lack of time. Anyway… Alot has happened in the past few weeks. We have had a pool party with Blue Sushi, family reunions, bible studies, church, school, doctors appointments, surgeries, family emergencies, and soo much more! Our lives are truly full! But honestly, I don’t think that Heidi, nor I would really have it any other way.

The twins are so much fun!! They will be a year in July!!! Ethan loves them and they love him. It is so funny how they play together. Ethan has gotten much more verbal. Just an example, I saw a friend of mine at church that I haven’t seen in a while, Ethan looks up at her and said, “I am Ethan ‘Tator’ James and I am soo cute!” I died laughing!! It was sooo funny. That isn’t even the end of it, after everyone stopped laughing he looked up at me with a smlie and said, “mama, I am funny!” He truly is! He makes up some of the funniest stuff! I wish I had a recorder for all of the times he says something like that on spur of the moment.

Before we know it the girls are going to be talking and…WALKING!!! Angela is on her way. She is pulling away from what she is holding on to and trying to stand with no hands. WOW!! When I stop to think about it for a minute, it’s amazing to think how fast time has gone by. It was only a few short months ago that, the girls were little preemies hardly even opening their eyes and, now they are almost  a year old crawling, laughing, and playing!! It only proves the fact that we need to enjoy our kids every second that we have with them.

As far as the family emergency that I mentioned, My grandmother was put in the hospital for a heart surgery about a week ago. It was a close call, they found the problem just in time. It turned out that she had an anurism, a birth defect (that we didnt know about), and her main valve was not functioning correctly. But I am glad to say that she is doing great. Only a week later at the age of 75 she is now getting out of her bed by herself and using the bathroom on her own! She is such a trooper! We are glad that she is still with us and determined to live the rest of her life with the same amount of strength and passion that she always has! Also, just a note: Heidi has told me that her grandmother will be having back surgery soon, so please keep her in your prayers.

One more thing… Ethan had his tonsils and adenoid surgery on Mon and he is recovering very well! It has been tough for the both of us but he is going to be feeling much better by the weekend!! … I can’t wait!!!

I love you guys and I hope that you have a wonderful week!Ethan the night before his surgeryPoor Ethan he was not feeling well! ... you can tell by the expression on his poor little face

Trip to Alabama!

We had a very busy and full weekend!! We made a trip to Alabama with a lot of stops. First, my sister Sarah graduated from college from massage therapy school. YAY!!!! We are sooooo proud of her. Sarah… your determination inspires me.

Next we made a special visit to see my dad’s mom, grandmama. My grandmother lives on  a large amount of land, (I think 80 acres but I am afraid to quote it because I am not completely sure) and so Ethan had alot of room to run! I haven’t been there in years because it is so far away. It brought back alot of sweet memories of me as a little girl running up and down the hills and valleys of all of their land. I can remember being able to ride horses, see the old barn, fish in the ponds, run, explore nature, and anything we could think of to keep us busy! I can remember a time when all of those memories didn’t matter to me but now I wish that I could take more of it in. I look back and realize how much I took for granted and wish that I had more time now to soak it all in.

I got a little car sick on the way back home. So I am glad to be back home on steady ground… literally and metophorically.  I hope everyone had a great Easter! Love all of You!

So cool!!

ok I had to blog one more thing. I saw on my dear friend Connie Firmin’s blog about this girl who was trying to raise money for her dad to go to Africa. She had a really creative way to raise money. I would never do it (unless I had to) but she is really cool for thinking outside of the box!

… I don’t know you E but, girl you are cool! You are going to be such an amazing impact on the kingdom even if you aren’t the one physically going! Soo Cool!

“Elmo Street” Live

Today we went to see Elmo in concert and it was sooo much fun! It was called Elmo Grows Up, but Ethn called it “Elmo Street”. I think that I had the most fun watching Ethan’s face light up when he saw Elmo come out onto the stage. When I asked Ethan what did he want to be when he grows up he said, “I want to grow up to dance on that stage…” He is so cute.

The overview of the concert was Pricilla was having a pagent on Sesame Street about what everyone wanted to be when they grew up. Each character came out and said what they wanted to be except Elmo wasn’t sure. Grover wanted to be a police officer, Cookie monster wanted to be a fire fighter, Telly wanted to be a cowboy, BAby Bear wanted to be a Railroad Conducter… you get the point. Elmo said that he wanted to do everything and he realized at the end that was going to be a problem. Big Bird finally told him that he didnt have to know what he wanted to be right away, just to be who he is today. Elmo decided that today, he just wanted to be a kid (ironic cause he is actually a monster… haha!) Very cute!!!

I began to think about it later and thought, so many times in our lives we try and be eveything and God is telling us to just be who we are today!! If Joseph would have tried to hurry up the process of his time in jail, or even escape, God could not have blessed him to be head of the Palace and see his brothers again. He lived fearless for the kingdom, unafraid of what people might do to him, but confidence that his Lord would fufill His word. He interpreted the dreams that God had given them even though he could have been killed or beaten. Fearless!!!!So cool!!

Believe!

By the way… I do not want to forget to mention how amazing Cami is for getting us the tickets for free!! Thank you so much, words cannot describe how much you blessed us!! (especially Ethan) Thank you and We LOVE YOU!!!!
